David Espindola helps organizations adopt and govern artificial intelligence, guiding them through the profound transitions of the exponential era, bridging technical expertise with strategic foresight.
His career began in Silicon Valley, in leadership roles at two fast-growing technology startups. One spun off into a business still operating today; the other grew fivefold during his tenure, reaching over $400M in revenue and a successful IPO.
He went on to senior roles at Oracle, Zebra Technologies, and Flexera Software. At Zebra he was part of the leadership team that delivered a business transformation program resulting in 6X revenue growth. At Flexera he served as CIO, developing and implementing global technology strategy.
Across those decades the work has sat at the intersection of technological disruption and human-centered strategy, spanning Fortune 500 transformations, startup innovation, and academic advising, always rooted in one question: how can we design technology that upholds human dignity, purpose, and sustainable abundance?
Two books came out of that question. Today he works with enterprises, government, nonprofits, and universities on AI strategy, policy, and public understanding. His insights have been featured on Fox News, TV Globo, Forbes, and other outlets across the US and Latin America.
He holds an MBA from American University and a B.S. in Engineering Management from the University of North Dakota, and is a graduate of Stanford University’s Executive Education program.
